Duyfken joins Tall Ship Festival in Fremantle this weekend

There are now more tall ships in Fremantle than for many years - and four of them are Dutch! The arrival in Fremantle Harbour of Dutch ships Oosterschelde’, ‘Tecla’ and bark ‘Europa’ and British sail training ship Lord Nelson has begun the Fremantle Tall Ships Festival which includes various activities at Victoria Quay and Fremantle city centre on Saturday afternoon, and public access to the ships on Sunday from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Duyfken will of course be joining in the festivities, open to the public 11.00am to 3.00pm all weekend.

Unfortunately the planned Parade of Sail and welcome in Fremantle Harbour on Saturday has been cancelled due to the early arrival of the Dutch ships.

Dutch tall ships open to the public (gold coin entry) 'C' & 'D' Sheds Victoria Quay. 10.00am - 3.00pm Sunday 28 July
