Duyfken is searching for people who can enhance the 16th century atmosphere aboard Duyfken when she is on exhibition.

The Duyfken Foundation seeks volunteers from traditional trades who can donate accurate period artefacts for display.

The Foundation not only wants to sail the most authentic ocean-going replica of an Age of Discovery replica ship in the world, it would also like to recreate the daily objects of life aboard.

If you can donate barrels or boxes, carve sea chests, make stovepipes hats or swords, recreate a jacobís staff, or mould a bellarmine jug ñ or any number of other thigs, then Duyfken would like to hear from you. Simply visit the ship while she is on display in The Netherlands.
