How did you first get involved with the Duyfken
project?
After having spent a week as a volunteer while the vessel was preparing
to leave in Sydney I felt that this was a great adventure and wanted
to be a part of it. |
Why are you embarking on the Duyfken Voyagie?
The
accomplishment of having pushed new limits and succeeding. To learn
how to sail. |
What do you think you will miss most while aboard
Duyfken?
Guiness. |
What is the most unusual item in your sea chest?
Irridesant
pelolaigic theise(?), a rock that comes from North America or Norway.
Trapped gasses inside shine in the light with different colours. |
How will you cope with the primitive conditions
aboard?
I
look forward to a simpler and more basic way of life. |
What do you find is the most difficult aspect
of sailing aboard Duyfken?
Keeping everything
in perspective, not losing sight of the incredible experience that
has been presented to me. |
