How did you first get involved with the Duyfken project?
Met Duyfken in Mooloolaba, climbed aboard straight away! And worked on her for four months as a volunteer.
Why are you embarking on the Duyfken Voyagie?
Ones in a life time opportunity.
How do you cope with life aboard a small ship such as Duyfken?
Keep smiling, enjoy life and be happy, laugh :-)
What is the most unusual item in your sea chest?
Clean clothes. Space. ;-)
How will you cope with the primitive conditions aboard?
I'm sure we'll survive, they did it in 1606 too!
What do you find is the most difficult aspect of sailing aboard Duyfken?
Long legs @ sea without fresh fruit, vegies and fresh water.
What do you think will be the highlight of the voyage?
Arriving in Texel, Holland! Safe and sound.
