I heard it from Menno, captain of the Batavia. He told me there was a crew position available.
Why are you embarking on the Duyfken Voyagie?
I want to see the world and like sailing.
How do you cope with life aboard a small ship such as Duyfken?
I have been on small racing yachts so I don't mind it.
What is the most unusual item in your sea chest?
Normal clothes.
How will you cope with the primitive conditions aboard?
Good, I hope.
What do you find is the most difficult aspect of sailing aboard Duyfken?
I don't really know, I have only been sailing once on the Duyfken.
What do you think will be the highlight of the voyage?
The sailing and working together.
