Benno van Tilburg is director of the Maritime and Beachcombing Museum on the island of Texel.

The "Stichting" (foundation) is responsible for the funding and the organisation of the Duyfken 2002 VOC VOYAGIE in cooperation with the Duyfken 1606 Replica Foundation.

The Duyfken will arrive on the Texel roadstead on the 28th of April 2002.
